Caroline Hurst
Senior Development Associate
Caroline is a key component to our development team. With her vast experience in asset management compliance, operations, and real estate closings, she brings a fresh approach to the lifecycle of a project as she can visualize our developments through an asset management lens. This allows us to make sure we are thinking of everything, putting our future residents first, while increasing efficiency for the company’s long-term success.
Caroline joined OPG in February 2021. Her strengths are in strategic thinking, financial analysis, and relationship building. She enjoys the fast paced, competitive environment of the affordable housing industry- and is proud of the communities we serve.
Born and raised in the heart of Kansas, Caroline appreciates the small-town, family feel of OPG, and our relationally driven approach to development. She started her professional career as an Operations Supervisor with MRLP, a real estate law firm based in Roswell, Georgia. She holds a B.S. in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University.
Outside of work, you can find Caroline spending time with her loved ones. She enjoys watching rodeos with her husband, Caleb, playing with her family dog, Cleveland, and cheering on the Wildcats. One of her favorite quotes is “I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you are not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald.
