Amanda Klaus
Development Manager
As Construction and Development Manager, Amanda is responsible for assisting the Vice President of Construction in managing and overseeing the Construction synergies with the Development Team, in the project management of a pipeline of multi-family projects through the development lifecycle, which includes relationship management, lead generation, land control, legal entitlement, project design, internal reporting, cost accounting and budgeting, financing, construction, marketing/leasing, project opening and ongoing operations. Amanda also serves as lead contact for communication with attorneys, lenders, title companies, surveyors and investors to ensure successful closings. She spearheads company due diligence responses and coordinates closings. Amanda is also responsible for ensuring all entities are in compliance.
Prior to joining OPG, Amanda was a Paralegal for The Illig Family Enterprise Company in Leawood and in the Real Estate Development Practice Group at Polsinelli PC in Kansas City. She holds a bachelors in Pre-Law and Criminal Justice from Avila University, an associates in Paralegal Practice from Penn Valley Community College and a Real Estate Law Career Certificate from Ashworth College.
A fun fact about Amanda: she once ate dog treats on accident as she mistook them for animal crackers. In Amanda’s spare time she enjoys going to the lake with friends and family, volunteering and fostering for several local dog rescue groups in the area, and remodeling and flipping houses.

Amanda lives in Raymore, MO with her 5 fur babes.. all rescues, 2 cocker spaniels, a cavalier king charles spaniel, a cocker cavalier mix and a chihuahua mix.
